Flexible nasoendoscopy, passing beneath the lower turbinate of the right nostril then into the nasopharynx before turning posteriorly towards the larynx. It demonstrates a large left para and retropharyngeal abscess significantly distorting the airway anatomy to the right (left of screen). Note the narrow supraglottic inlet and vibration of the epiglottis indicating a threatened airway.
