The 2 different online formats of the manual have now been named as ‘formats’ instead of ‘versions’. This may make it clearer that each is just a different format of exactly the same information, rather than each containing different information.
Both versions of the manual have been updated with some new formatting. The tables are now a bit plainer and easier to read. Image and table titles are also now easier to read.
8 new ECGs have been added to the ECG library bringing the total number of ECGs in the library to 186.
A number of images on the Diffuse pulmonary opacity page have been resized to improve viewing quality.
Images on the Pulmonary fibrosis page have been resized to improve clarity.
A number of images on the Zygomatico-maxillary trauma page have been resized to improve clarity.
A number of images on the Cholecystitis page have been resized to increase clarity.
Two hyperlinks from the Complications of head trauma page have been repaired.
The Audio clip of mitral stenosis on the Mitral stenosis page has been restored.
All the New content quizzes from 2015 have been reviewed and updated.
All the New content quizzes from 2014 have been reviewed and updated.
All the New content quizzes from 2013 have been reviewed and updated.
The audio clip of aortic stenosis on the Aortic stenosis page has been restored.
The audio clip of the 4th heart sound on the Cardiac auscultation page has been restored.
5 new ECGs have been added to the ECG gallery, taking the total number of ECGs in the gallery to 178.
13 images have been added to the Orthopaedic gallery, taking the number of images in the gallery to 145.
The Cardiomyopathy page has been deleted and it’s contents moved to other pages. Existing links and bookmarks to this page will now no longer function.
The HOCM page has moved from the Cardiac failure section to the Structural heart disease section. Existing links and bookmarks to this page will now no longer function.
The Venous thrombosis chapter has been divided to create a new chapter called Anticoagulation.
The Diseases of the airways chapter has been divided to create a new chapter called Respiratory infections.
