Cessation of CPR
The Advanced cardiac life support page has been updated to indicate that an unwitnessed arrest with a non-shockable rhythm and age > 80 years is associated with a very low likelihood of survival to hospital discharge.

The Other hypoglycaemic agents page has been updated to downplay the association between metformin and lactic acidosis and some other updates.
Anxiety instead of anaphylaxis or angioedema
The Anaphylaxis page has been updated with additional information about how to differentiate anxiety from anaphylaxis or angioedema. This is particularly important as a significant proportion of younger patients who present with ‘impending allergic airway obstruction’ are actually suffering from anxiety. The use of adrenaline (and icatabant) does not help anxiety.
