Some buttons are back!
A fix has been found for the button problem, so a few are being re-instated on the site. However we are feeling a bit ‘button shy’ after the disruption, so will use them a bit more sparingly in future – unless there is an outcry of support for them from our subscribers.
50 new videos
Approximately 50 new video clips (I can’t be bothered counting them all!) have been added to a newly created Video page. Nearly all of these are ultrasound clips, covering a wide variety of emergency presentations and echocardiographic views.
Missing buttons!
Unfortunately after a software update – all the buttons on the site have gone missing, never to be seen again. We ask for your patience whilst we rig up something to replace all of them.

Some additions on Clostridium difficile infection have ben made to the new Organisms causing infective gastroenteritis page.

A new page called Organisms causing infective gastroenteritis has been added to the Abdominal pain chapter. This contains now contains consolidated information from the Infectious gastroenteritis page in the Infectious diseases section, which has now been removed.
Long acting atypical antipsychotic agents
A table outlining the different long acting antipsychotic medications available in Australia has been added to the Antipsychotic medications page.
EVAR image
An angiogram demonstrating a successful EVAR procedure has been added to the Abdominal aortic aneurysm page.
de Winter ECG changes
A short segment on de Winter ECG changes in ACS has been added to the ECG in acute coronary syndromes page.
Proximal pole scaphoid fracture
An Xray of a proximal pole scaphoid fracture has been added to the Distal forearm injuries page, as well as some further modification of the section on scaphoid fractures.
Rib fracture fixation
The Chest wall trauma page has been updated with additional information about rib fracture fixation.
Skin stapling
The section on skin stapling has been expanded and moved from the Sutures page to the Wound management page.
Suturing technique
The Wound management page has been updated with additional information about the technique of simple wound closure.
Scalpel blades image
The Wound management page has been updated with an image demonstrating different sizes of scalpel blades.
Suture needle image
The Wound management page has been updated with an image illustrating the different parts of a suture needle.
