Allopurinol in acute gout
The Gout and pseudogout page has been updated with information indicating that initiation of allopurinol during an acute attack is probably safe, contrary to what many have thought.
Subacromial impingement
The Soft tissue injuries of the shoulder region page has been updated, including information about the lack of efficacy for surgical intervention.
Patient transport
A number of minor modifications to the Prehospital care section regarding patient transport have been made.
Insulinoma
The Hypoglycaemia page has been updated with particular emphasis on how to differentiate the causes and insulinoma.
Sclerotherapy for venous ulcers
The Leg ulcers page has been updated with some information about the role of venous sclerotherapy in the treatment of venous ulcers.
